Terms & Conditions

1. Onboarding T&Cs for Patients

Fees for consultations, investigations, reports, prescriptions, and other services are set out on the Clinic website or confirmed to you in writing at the time of booking. Fees may be updated from time to time.

Payment is required promptly and on occasions may be required in advance of appointments or services. The Clinic reserves the right not to provide services where payment has not been received.

Clinical time provided outside scheduled appointments - including but not limited to review of results, preparation of reports, protocol development, prescription administration, multidisciplinary discussion, or written/email advice - may form part of the service provided and may be chargeable where appropriate. This will be communicated to you in advance wherever reasonably possible.

Fees for laboratory tests, supplements, medications, external referrals, or third-party services are usually separate from consultation or programme fees unless explicitly stated.

Please note payment of fees and other charges is required in all circumstances.

2. Payments and Outstanding Fees

All fees must be paid in advance of consultations or services unless otherwise agreed. The Clinic reserves the right to suspend or withdraw services where fees remain unpaid.

Where payment plans or staged payments are agreed, all outstanding sums become immediately payable if services are terminated or suspended.

If fees remain unpaid after reasonable reminders, the Clinic may decline further appointments, prescriptions or administrative support until the account is brought up to date. The Clinic may appoint agents to secure recovery of unpaid fees which will increase the liability of the patient to the clinic.
‍

3. Cancellation and Missed Appointment

At HUM2N we understand that circumstances can change and that patients may occasionally need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.

Our appointments are reserved specifically for each patient. Late cancellations and missed appointments can prevent other patients from accessing care and can affect the efficient running of the clinic.

4. Cancelling or Rescheduling an Appointment

Patients are asked to provide at least 24 hours' notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Appointments can be cancelled or rearranged by:

Where possible, we will offer an alternative appointment date and time.

5. Late Cancellations

A cancellation made with less than 24 hours' notice will be considered a late cancellation.

Depending on the type of appointment, a late cancellation may result in a cancellation fee of £150.

The fee will be communicated to the patient before being charged, where applicable.

We recognise that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can occur. Each situation may therefore be considered on an individual basis and the clinic may waive the fee where there are reasonable circumstances.

6. Missed Appointments / No-Shows

An appointment will be considered a no-show where a patient does not attend their appointment and has not contacted the clinic in advance.

A missed appointment may result in a fee of £150.

Repeated missed appointments may also result in the clinic reviewing future appointment arrangements, including requiring appointments to be booked subject to availability or requiring payment in advance.

7. Clinic Cancellations

If the clinic needs to cancel or rearrange an appointment, we will provide as much notice as reasonably possible and offer an alternative appointment where appropriate.

Patients will not be charged a cancellation fee where the clinic cancels their appointment.

8. Emergencies and Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that genuine emergencies, sudden illness and other exceptional circumstances may make it impossible for a patient to provide the required notice.

Such circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Patients should contact the clinic as soon as reasonably possible.

9. Deposits and Cancellation Charges

Where a deposit or cancellation charge applies, patients will be informed of the amount and the circumstances in which it may be retained or charged at the time of booking.

Any applicable fees will be handled in accordance with the clinic's terms and conditions and relevant consumer and healthcare requirements.
